Christian Covenant Fellowship Limited (also known as CCF Singapore) is a bible-based evangelical church founded in Singapore.
We saw our beginnings in 2006 as a home church, with two families conducting Bible studies. The regular Bible studies soon became regular Sunday gatherings, with a focus on studying God’s Word and encouraging one another in the Christian faith. Then began a steady increase in numbers of attendees from visitors from Manila and friends working in Singapore.
What has been more a blessing though is to have God's fingerprints seen all throughout – through restored relationships, transformed lives, new friends committing their lives to God, and the amazing answer from God on the approved license application of the church as an independent church in Singapore. God is indeed an awesome, generous, loving and faithful God!
Aside from the increasing number of members, an even stronger focus in our church now is growth in God's Word and discipleship. We believe that every believer should be a minister – abiding and growing in God’s Word and actively living out our faith.
Currently, we have 12 discipleship groups meeting regularly at various places. By God's grace, He has given us the privilege to further His kingdom through these groups.
Several retreats for singles, couples, and others are also all being organized on a yearly basis. Training and equipping seminars are being held to foster growth. Ministry groups were founded and are now actively involved in helping out with the needs of the church.
In Christ, we continue to commit ourselves to answer the call of the Great Commission – in making committed followers of Christ – and in helping every believer become a minister for God.
We have our set of beliefs that we firmly hold on to.
- God
There is only one sovereign God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the independent Creator of Heaven and the universe and is all-knowing, all-powerful, just, loving and completely truthful and holy.
(1 Chronicles 29:11-12)
- Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man, that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived in sinless life. He was crucified and He died to pay the penalty for our sins. By His blood, the Lord Jesus Christ made a perfect sacrifice for sin once and for all time and was raised from the dead on the third day. Later, He was ascended to the Father's right hand where He is the Head of the Church and intercedes for believers. We believe He is coming again to the earth bodily and visibly to set up his Kingdom.
(1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
- Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit is God and possesses all the Divine attributes. He indwells all believers, baptizes all believers at the moment they trust in Jesus Christ to be their only Savior and Lord. He controls and empowers all true believers to live the Christian life in response to their obedience, confession of sins, and submission to him.
(Romans 8:9-11)
- Salvation
Salvation is forgiveness of sins, important of a new nature and eternal life, is a free gift from God received when a person trust in Jesus Christ to be his only Savior and Lord. Salvation is given by God's grace and cannot be earned by man through good works, baptism, church membership or any other means
(Ephesians 2:8-9)
- Baptism
Water baptism by immersion is an act of obedience to Christ's command. It is a public confession of our personal faith in Jesus Christ. As Christ died for our sins, we raised from death, we walk in newness of life with Him.
(Matthew 28:19)
- Good works
Good works are not the means to salvation but are the expected by-product in the life of a true believer in Christ. It is every believer's responsibility to pursue a life of good works through the power of the Holy Spirit.
(Galatians 6:9-10)
- Every Christian's Mission
We believe that it is God's will and command for every Christian to be actively engaged in telling others how to establish a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ and in discipling those who respond to the good news of salvation.
(Matthew 28:19-20)
We help people develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, edify them through the study of the Word of God, and train them for Godly living and service.
We aim to see them become committed followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, modeling a genuine Christ-like character; abounding in love for God and others.
